This film focuses on food production through the growth, transportation, and food preparation process in making a bowl of Lanzhou beef noodles. It is one of the simplest and most affordable meals in China, and consists of hand pulled noodles, cilantro, green onions, beef, and radish soup. My goal is to make people more aware of where the food comes from, the labor involved at all stages, and encourage people to eat locally and support small businesses.
